Matthew C. Hug is a graduate of Albany Law School (summa cum laude) as well as a graduate of the State University of New York at Albany (M.A. U.S. History; B.A. U.S. History). Prior to opening this practice, Mr. Hug served as an Appellate Court Attorney with the New York State Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. Following his tenure with the court, in 2005, Mr. Hug opened this law office. Since that time, Mr. Hug has represented individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations in a wide variety of legal concentrations. The practice has a focus on appellate law, criminal law and municipal/Article 78, though the practice also offers representation in real estate law, business law, estate planning and zoning/land use. In 2006, Mr. Hug was appointed as counsel for the Town of North Greenbush Industrial Development Agency. In 2008, Mr. Hug was also appointed as counsel to the Town of North Greenbush Planning Board as well as the Zoning Board of Appeals, posts he continues to serve to the present.
